Tomorrow’s game Bangladesh Vs Sri Lanka

Posted on 20 March 2012

This is very important game for India and Bangladesh,  In my opinion Sri Lanka should win,  becasue of their experienced  bowling as well as  they are playing for their pride, but you never know Bangladesh can surprise the cricket world.

Winning the Toss is crucial for the both the teams, and it will be a dilemma for both of them, whether to bat first or field, as it can been seen  from the past few games that chasing any score is easy in this Asia Cup 2012.

Asia Cup 2012 Final

Posted on 21 March 2012

Bangladesh tigers have done well so far in the tournament to reach the final of Asia Cup. One more trick from the hat (probably from Shakib’s hat which he wore in the last game at the time of presentation ceremony) will do wonders for the team and country.  On the other hand Pakistan is also looking forward to the same. But Bangladesh’s determination can drive them to their destiny towards winning the Asia cup.

Bangladesh should play the same team as they played against Sri Lanka. The mantra is win the toss and field that they should be looking for. It has worked for them in past two games. Pakistan also wants to bat first, they think that their bowling under light is advantage as well as runs on the board to defend, batting second adds pressure.  Pakistan should play special wicketkeeper, because they have three quality spinners.

It will be an exciting match which the Bangladeshi people have waited for long time. This is a big moment for them. It will be house full, lot of support for Bangladeshi team.  As I have stated earlier, can Bangladesh surprise the cricket world? Can they do it again? This is the question to be answered…

Asia cup final

Pakistan have done well to reach 236.  Last over cost 19 runs. Pakistan try to take Tamin early, he is in good touch. Tamin is striking the ball nicely. Pakistan should bring Ajmal now  to create some pressure. Good move by Pakistan, Batsman should be careful. If Pakistan loose today, there will be changes in Pakistan team. Chopping and changing on the card for Pakistan Team. Good going for Bangladesh. They should have given Ajmal more overs, taking wickets is the key in order to stop them. Four fingers represents four  fifties. Dropping from the Team worked in favour of him. He is playing sensibly now.

Poor shot by Tamin. four fingers 4 fifties. he should  have shown only three. fourth would have be century. They need boundaries. Trick from Shakib needed. Game is evenly poised. After 35 overs. Tension in the crowd. Shakib should stay till the end.  Still anybody game. Pakistan Advantage now. Nazimuddin And Nasir Hossain wasted too many deliveries. They were alomst beat Pakistan.

Pakistan the winner of Asia Cup second time.

First T20 ~ Australia Vs West Indies: Live Blog

Posted on 27 March 2012

Good contest between ball and bat. Big loss for West Indies as Russell ruled out of T20 series. Batsmen should go after Pattinson and Lee.m  They need at least 170 plus. Bonner should rotate the strike.  Too many dot balls.  West Indies should ante the tempo. They need few more of those.

Slow batting by WI,  pollard should play at least 10 overs.  They need fours and sixes.  Good bowling by Aussies. it’s pollard time or Sammy time or both.   WI 20-25 runs short. Too many dot balls.

WI should take out Warner or Watson early.  Santokie did it for WI one down.  Good thinking by WI, not to play pacy bowlers.  Aussies on the move  and  running away with the game. WI need wickets, wickets, wickets… Sammy should have kept Sunil on. Good move by Sammy to bring spinner, is it too late for them.

In the end Aussies win comfortably.

Afghanistan & Ireland Qualified for ICC World Cup T20

Posted on 28 March 2012

Afghanistan and Ireland qualified for ICC World T20. It is nice to see two good teams advance into this big event. In the final of ICC World T20 Qualifier, both team played aggressive cricket but in the end Ireland prevailed.

Afghanistan scored 152, which proved to be not enough. They were short 20-30 runs, as they lost wickets in regular intervals, which slow them down. It was good progress of Afghanistan team.

Ireland opener Stirling was sensational during his inning with brutal batting took apart Afghanistan bowling except Zadran and gave brisk start to Ireland.

I would like to talk about two other teams Namibia and Scotland. They did well in the league stage, especially Namibia undefeated at league stage, lost to Ireland badly at knock out.

They are ready to face test playing team in T20 world cup, which will be held at Sri Lanka in September 2012. Afghanistan landed up in group A with England and India , while Ireland is in group B with Australia and West Indies. This will help both the teams to learn better by playing with quality teams. They need more international exposure to excel.

Let’s wait to see them in T20 World cup…

Only T20 ~ India Vs South Africa

Posted on 30 March 2012

Poor bowling by Indians, India will be chasing 200 plus.  Indians must be happy to see Levi back.  Good batting track. Seam Bowlers  being treated like spinners. They should fire yorkers. Too easy for SA.  Poor bowling & fielding by Indians. Spin option is better. It says friendship cup, I don’t see any friendship the field.  Indians  were showing friendship but not South Africans. Ashwin & PK are very poor fielders. They need to improve. Indians once they get in the team, they do not work on their fielding, which is very important part of the game.

Indians need to get going from the ball one. Fire works from young guns required. Bad news for India. Lost by 11 run by D/L. India will feel they have been robbed from the win. Shame, Shame, Shame…

Second T20 ~ Australia Vs West Indies

Posted on 30 March 2012

WI is batting, they need 160-170 runs. Pollard should play up in the order. Good move by WI to bring Fidel. Good start by WI. It is going to good battle between Pollard and Lee. Lee won the battle.  Clean hitting by Smith, got out at wrong time. Wickets are falling at wrong time. They should maintain the run rate. poor batting by WI they should have got 180-200 . It good & fighting total.

WI started well to take Watson,  Warner is batted well, but his run out triggered the collapse, Samuel bowled well 3 for 23 in four overs. and Fidel did good job by picking three wickets. Bravo 2 in the last over seal the deal win for West Indies. To be Australia it was important to put pressure and and take wickets.  West Indies showed lot of character to tie both the series ODI & T20. They gave tough time to Austraila. This leads to Test  series. WI is high in confidence, ready to upset Australia party.

Final Battle ~ England Vs Sri Lanka

Final Battle ~ England Vs Sri Lanka

Posted on 02 April 2012

It is time for England to show some fighting Spirit to combat Spin. Batting at the top of the order to fire so the middle order can build on that platform. They need to take advantage of the new ball Sri Lankan bowler which seems not much effective, to put at least 75-100 runs when they are operating.  Need to bat long and put good score on the board in the first innings; if you concede lead then it is a catch up game rest of the test match. It is hard to score 300 plus on spinning wicket.

England: Andrew Strauss (capt), Alastair Cook,  Jonathan Trott, Kevin Pietersen, Ian Bell, Matt Prior (wk), Samit Patel, Tim Bresnan, Graeme Swann,  James Anderson, Steve Finn, Monty Panesar, Ravi Bopara.

For Sri Lankan are tigers at home, it is hard to beat them in their backyard, condition are familiar and favor’s them. Though they lost crafty king of spin Murli, but still they good spinners in the team in form of Herath. Their batting looks ok not up to the mark yet, they will improve well to win the test. There is no pressure on them.

Sri Lanka: Lahiru Thirimanne, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Kumar Sangakkara, Mahela Jaywardene, Thilan Samaraweera, Angelo Mathews, Prasanna Jayawardene, Suraj Randiv, Rangana Herath, Dhammila Prasad, Suranga Lakmal.

It will be good battle between the two good teams, England try to give a fight to win the Test to level the series

IPL 2012 IS HERE!

Posted on 02 April 2012

IPL is time for Fun, food and fellowship, to see players, and people from all parts of the world playing in this big event to understand cricket culture.

IPL 2012 is ready to roll with nine teams roster for about two months of an entertaining, an exciting and an electrifying cricket. It is big time of ball bashing and blasting to blow out other team.

It will be nightmare for college student’s as they prepare for their exams, as their favorite team are playing; it is a temptation to study or stay away from TV or computer. People working in offices ready and running home to watch the game, Oh! forgot about the dinner, after the tiring day and wife still at works. Men speak out, “honey don’t worry about cooking, IPL comes once a year, no need to worry order pizza or KFC, let’s enjoy…”

Chennai Super Kings, Deccan Chargers, Delhi Daredevils, Kings XI Punjab, Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, Pune Warriors, Rajasthan Royals, Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Teams are training hard to show off their skills to the world , what they are made of. It will be the test of their strategies, skills, spirit and smart out each other to win the battle. There is chopping and changing in the teams in form of players as well as in leadership in some teams looking for right combination to do well in this edition of IPL-5.

It is wonderful to see some young guns coming into fold from different countries to show their talent at this stage to perform to move up to higher level. It is dream come true for some of these young guys to play and rub shoulders with their heroes to learn to advance their professional skill.

Morkel and Irfan sinks Kolkata Knight Riders

Delhi daredevil won the toss, and elected  to field. Only a 12 overs game. Delhi batting looks weak without their big guns. Kolkata Knight Riders needs 125-130 runs on the board. Good start for DD, three wickets in three overs. fourth wicket down and big fish YK Pathan for nought. Good stuff, fielding, bowling from DD. Fine bowling by Morkel and Yadav. DD have done well to keep them under 100. KKR short 20-25 runs. Now KKR have to bowl really well in order to win the game.

Good first over from Lee. Brisk start by DD, on their  way to victory. Is this a twist in the game. Pressure time for DD. Good hitting from Irfan took the game from them in a jeffy  42 in 20 balls. They want to create a family feud between Pathan brothers. In the end, it was DD all the way to start their campaign with a win. Job well done, allround performance by DD.

Rajasthan Royals Vs Kings XI Punjab: A Preview

Posted on 05 April 2012

There are many Royals but only one Rajasthan Royals, there are many kings, but they are Punjab XI Kings.

Rahul Dravid, who is retired from international cricket ,will lead the Rajasthan Royals. He has a lot of experience behind him to motivate his team to do well in this edition of IPL-5. No more Shane Warne in the camp, who won the championship of first edition of IPL. Batting is a real concern for them. They have good spinners and pace bowlers. They need to combine right chemistry for the team in order to produce the right result.

Rajasthan Royals : Rahul Dravid (Capt.), Aakash Chopra, Abhishek Raut, Aditya Dole, Ajinkya Rahane, Ajit Chandila, Amit Paunikar, Amit Singh, Ankeet Chavan, Ashok Menaria, Brad Hodge, Brad Hogg, Deepak Chahar, Dinesh Chandimal, Dishant Yagnik, Faiz Fazal, Gajendra Singh, Johan Botha, Kevon Cooper, Owais Shah, Pankaj Singh, Paul Collingwood, Samad Fallah, Shane Watson, Shaun Tait, Shreevats Goswami, Siddharth Trivedi, Sreesanth, Stuart Binny, Sumit Narwal.

His counterpart retired from international cricket but a legend  Adam Gilchrist an inspirational leader who leads from front. In the last IPL he won five game in a trot, best all round players, and match winner in the camp. He is an aggressive  and attacking batsman, he can turn the game around.

Kings XI Punjab: Adam Gilchrist (Capt.), Abhishek Nayar, AD Mascarenhas, Amit Yadav, Bhargav Bhatt, Bipul Sharma, David Hussey, David Miller, Harmeet Singh, Mandeep Singh, Nathan Rimmington, Nitin Saini, Paras Dogra, Paul Valthaty, Piyush Chawla, Praveen Kumar, Rajagopal Sathish, Ramesh Powar, Ryan Harris, Shalabh Srivastava, Shaun Marsh, Siddharth Chitnis, Stuart Broad, Sunny Singh, Vikramjeet Malik.

IPL will again be crucial for all the players to perform well as the selectors are looking ahead towards the T20 World Cup. Spinners will play the crucial part in IPL as well as in T20 World Cup which will be held in Sri Lanka Sep. 2012. As far as the conditions are concerned it is similar to Indian condition, spinning wickets.

It’s nice to see Royals take on Kings XI. You mean “Gilly the great”  vs. “Rahul the Wall”!  Yes I mean it, both are great. But Rahul should remember, it is T20 not Test.

Pune Warriors Crushed Mumbai Indians

Posted on 06 April 2012

Mumbai Indians won the toss and decided to bowl first. Poor start by Pune Warriors, More wicket down, they losing wickets in regular intervals. MI have done to restrict PW to 130 runs on this wicket, it not going to be easy, ball spinning. PW have lot spinner in their team. good work by the MI bowlers. Let see how MI approach this chase.

Good start by Pune Warriors  five for three on the board, they are in trouble. Nice stroke play by Karthik, partnership developing, again they lost two in quick succession. Mid way stage it is getting difficult for MI, Run rate has crept to over ten now, can Franklin and pollard do for MI. Game is nicely set up for last five overs.Big fish gone KP. Good stuff from PW. Kings XI creamed by Rajasthan Royals

Posted on 06 April 2012

Kings XI won the toss and choose to field. Flying start by RR  57 runs in 6 overs. Rahul and Rahane are in good touch. Great going for RR. 160-175 runs on the card. RR has good chance to post good total. Two down in two overs. 100 on the board, can they extend to 170-180. Rahane is playing a gem of an inning, good for him to show his talent. Missed century. King XI bowling seems weak. RR well to reach 191 run with the help of poor bowling and fielding by Kings XI, it will take some chasing. Kings XI has fire power to get this total, it is good batting wicket and fast out field.

Good start by Kings XI, but lost Gilchrist and Paul valthaty. Kings XI are stumbling. Three down only 55 on the board. another gone, Cooper is doing the damage for RR. Still gettable, but wickets are the problem for them. Hussey is the only hope for them.  Hussey is gone, down and out. Kings XI should have won this, but did not pace their inning properly loosing wickets regularly put them behind run rate,it was good wicket to bat on. winning Chance missed by them.

Win for RR Man of the Match AM Rahane.

Deccan Chargers without their regular captain Kumar Sagakkara, so in his place, Cameron White will be in charge. Can he inspire his team to do well against defending champion Chennai Super Kings? They look on the balanced side in all the three departments, but it is matter of time to put right combination and perform on the field.

Deccan Chargers: Kumar Sangakkara(Capt.), Abhishek Jhunjhunwala, Akash Bhandari Amit Mishra, Anand Rajan, Ankit Sharma, Arjun Yadav, Ashish Reddy Bharat Chipli Cameron White Chris Lynn Dale Steyn Daniel Christian Daniel Harris Darren Bravo Dwaraka Ravi Teja Ishank Jaggi JP Duminy Juan Theron Kumar Sangakkara Manpreet Gony Parthiv Patel Shikhar Dhawan Sunny Sohal Syed Ahmed Quadri Tanmay Mishra Tanmay Srivastava

Chennai’s Super Kings have done well over the years. They lost opener to Mumbai Indians, but ready correct their mistake to win the game. They have international experience and many of them are all-rounders to bowl and bat at the lower order. Super Kings have a couple of injury concerns, Michael Hussey who is to join at the end of the month. Still they have enough fire power to pull the things together for the team.

Chennai Super Kings: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (Capt.), Abhinav Mukund, Ganapathi Vignesh, Joginder Sharma, Kuthethur Vasudevadas, Murali Vijay, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Shadab Jakati, Srikkanth Anirudha, Subramaniam Badrinath, Sudeep Tyagi, Suresh Raina, Vijaykumar Yo Mahesh, Wriddhiman Saha, Albie Morkel, Ben Hilfenhaus, Doug Bollinger, Dwayne Bravo, Francois Du Plessis, George Bailey, Michael Hussey, Nuwan Kulasekara, Scott Styris, Suraj Randiv.

Posted on 15 April 2012

Kolkata Knight Riders has won the toss decided to field. Good start by KKR by taking 2 quick wickets. they are bowling well. They need to ante the tempo, David played very well. Also in the end they ened up with 134 on the board. it is not a winning total, but competitive. it is slow track. KKR against RR knock down the required runs. let see how they are going to respond to Kings XI Punjab spinners.

Brisk start by KKR, despite to loosing both the openers. Nice partnership between Bisla and Manoj. Chawla’s over with two wickets turn the game for Kings XI favour. Das hitting brought KKR to the striking distance, but failed to get 13 in 12 balls. They had defensive approach to the last game, as well as in this, but did not work this time left too long to finish the game.

RCB Vs PW: Bangalore desperate to bounce back

Posted on 16 April 2012

Royal Challengers Bangalore have lost two games at the trot, they need to start firing all cylinders. They lack intensity. They have pick up their games specially in the bowling department, fifth bowler is issue for them, leaking too many runs. They should bring a T20 bowler.

Pune Warriors are rocking. It will be difficult to stop the momentum they are with. It will take a special super star effort to stop them. The have good bowling unit, but Bangalore wicket is batting beauty. PW bowlers will be tested in these condition. Their batting has clicked so far except few times.

Deccan Chargers won the toss and decided to bat first. Good move by Sangakara to open the inning. Brisk start by DC. 200 runs on the cards.  94 runs in 10 runs only one. 100 runs in the next 10 overs. fantastic finish by JP Duminy  58 in 26 runs. Wicket is batting paradise.  Rajasthan Royals also with brisk start. 2 overs 17 on the board. Runs are coming from both ends. 62 in 6 overs 1 down. Excellent going for RR. Dale steyn 3 overs will be the key for DC. Other bowlers have to bowl well to keep the thing tight and quite. Match is heading towards tight finish. 87 from 8 only 2 down. Good bowling by Amit Mishra, he took out Rahane &  Shah. Poor fielding by DC drop catch and misfield. it is going to wire. RR has chased down 196. Power hitting by Brad Hodge 48 in 21 balls.

Gayle’s fireworks wins for RCB

Posted on 17 April 2012

Warriors won the toss, decided to bat. Dada and his team is doing well so far. Good move by Dada to move Robin up in the order. Dilshan is in the team, will it change their fortune. Brisk start by PWI. 30 in 3 overs. 58 in 6 overs. Again 200 on the cards. Robin is batting  well. Run outs pull them back. Good total, still 20 less. Game on, work cut out for RCB. Birthday boy enjoying Chocolate cake. Can they chase this down? Yes no choice for them. Gayle and Dilshan should after the bowling. If RR can, so RCB can. wait and see..

Good start by PW, but the ball is disappearing in from Gayle’s bat. slow down considerably. 5 sixes in 5 balls. 66 in 30 balls. RR did it. RCB can do it too. they did it. Power hitting by AB and Tiwary finish it off. it is raining now, it was raining of sixes.

KKR beat KXI on their home turf

Posted on 18 April 2012

Kings XI Punjab won the toss and elected to bat. Few changes from both sides. May be Paul’s and Pathan’s day. Paul is done for the day with poor shot. decent start by Kings XI. Gilly is hurt, blow to KIngs XI, he was playing well. They need to tee off to get to big total, at least 150-160. it is good wicket to bat on. Not enough runs on the board. 30-40 short. 124 is piece of Cake for KKR, Can they eat it?

Brisk Start by KKR. 53 in 6 overs 1 down. they should get it easly. Bowlers set them up for them. but Gambhir played well for his 66 in 44 balls. Gilly going from the field after got hurt, he was hitting the ball nicely, that pulled their inning back, from that onward. KKR day.

CSK Vs PW: A Preview

Chennai Super Kings lost to Pune warriors in the last game. They need to tighten their screws in the bowling department. No changes expected from them in the playing Eleven, M.S. Dhoni gives his players enough time to build their confidence, Vijay have failed so far, but will Dhoni stick with him or axe him. The problem CSK have in the top of the order, runs flow from one end only, that put pressure on the other guy run rate drops down. If they are batting first the fell short of 20-30 runs, batting second it will make difficult for the middle and lower order batsmen to chase down total.

Pune Warriors  were rocking, till the last game, last ball lost. It was heart breaking for them after putting a decent total, It took a special super star effort from Chris Gayle to stop. They had good bowling unit, but Bangalore wicket was batting beauty. PW bowlers were tested in those condition, and failed to defend. The crazy two run out pull them back, and fell short 15-20 runs, that made the difference between Won and loss. Their batting has clicked so far except few times.  They need to come of that shock defeat by the hands of RCB. Not many changes expected in their playing eleven.

KP’s ton keeps DC still winless

Posted on 19 April 2012

Deccan Chargers won the toss and elected to bat first, Lost Sangakkara early, but Dhawan and Patel stich nice partnership. 9 over 81 on the board. But introduction of regular spinner S Nadeem, immediately striking by taking wickets in regular intervals, that peg DC back and lost last six wickets for 57 runs in 11 overs. It is decent total but not winning, short 20-25 runs. They way DD are playing their should not be any problem for the to chase it down, until something disastrous happens. DC has to bowl and field really well in order to win this game.

Delhi Daredevils start with poor shot by Ojha, it is slow wicket, he try to hit through the line. Good strat by DC by taking wickets. KP did for 103 in 64 balls. Seal the deal for DD. Graet hitting by KP.

Chennai Super Kings Vs Rajasthan Royals

Posted on 20 April 2012

Chennai Super Kings won against Pune warriors at home. They need to tighten their screws in the bowling department. No changes expected from them in the playing Eleven, M.S. Dhoni gives his players enough time to build their confidence, Vijay have failed so far, Dhoni made right decision to use Badrinath as a opener in the last game. He did decent job, but was slow. It was a close game only won by 13 runs, would have gone either way. The problem CSK have in the top of the order, runs flow from one end only, that put pressure on the other guy run rate drops down. If they are batting first the fell short of 20-30 runs, batting second it will make difficult for the middle and lower order batsmen to chase down total. They need to put 170-180 on the board in order to defend. Bowlers are not looking in good form, specially Ashwin and Bollinger.

Rajasthan Royals are rocking and rolling, with big win over RCB and DC. Young and old guns are blazing again. It is nice to see underrated team is doing well so far in the tournament, with the limited resources. They are looking very confident at the moment. They are good side, because performing as a team. They chased down daunting total against DC, stir up in their spirit.

Mumbai Indians Vs Kings XI: A Preview

Posted on 21 April 2012

Mumbai Indians have lost their last game at home against DD. Poor batting display by MI in the last game. Now they are without Malinga, work is cut out for other MI Bowlers. Harbajan Singh doing well with his leadership and experience. They need to work on their batting, in order to put good total. Oh! No worry, It is Kings XI, their bowling is weak. MI will put big total if they bat first. MI have home advantage.

Mumbai Indians squad: Harbhajan Singh*,AN Ahmed,Amitoze Singh,AC Blizzard,YS Chahal,JEC Franklin,HH Gibbs,DJ Jacobs,MG Johnson,KD Karthik†,Kuldeep Yadav,DS Kulkarni,RE Levi,CJ McKay,SL Malinga,SH Marathe,SS Nayak,PP Ojha,MM Patel,NLTC Perera,RJ Peterson,KA Pollard,AT Rayudu,JN Shah,RG Sharma,R Shukla,RP Singh,TL Suman,P Suyal,AP Tare,SR Tendulkar,AV Wankhade,SA Yadav

Kings XI Punjab has lost their last game against KKR and RCB, low in the confidence, need to improve in batting and bowling. There is bite in their bowling. Last game they tried new guys from the bench, brought freshness in the team, with some good performance by them. Azhar did good with his all round performance. If they have stay in the tournament, they have perform to their potential.

A Chance For Daredevils To Seek Revenge

Posted on 23 April 2012

Pune Warriors  were rocking, now are rolling again. Their batting is clicking,  last game they played really well to put big score, and defended the total with good bowling. Ryder and Ganguly played nicely and Smith in the end gave the fantastic finish, and came out with flying colors against daunting Delhi. Dada at this showed the world, he is class act with his all-round performance. PW looking good under his leadership. It will be revenge game.

Pune Warriors squad: SC Ganguly*,ER Dwivedi,MJ Clarke,AB Dinda,CJ Ferguson,RV Gomez,Harpreet Singh,DS Jadhav,Kamran Khan,M Kartik,HH Khadiwale,B Kumar,NL McCullum,AP Majumdar,M Manhas,AD Mathews,MD Mishra,AG Murtaza,A Nehra,MK Pandey,WD Parnell,S Rana,JD Ryder,MN Samuels,R Sharma,GC Smith,SPD Smith,Tamim Iqbal,AC Thomas,K Upadhyay,RV Uthappa,SB Wagh,LJ Wright

Delhi Daredevils were devouring everyone on the way to the destiny. But last game they got their own dose from Pune Warriors. Bowlers gave too many runs against fine batting by PW. They will come back hard at PW to take revenge. They have quality players, will bounce back. DD is the team you can not keep them down for long time. KP and company has to do again.

Chennai Super Kings Vs Royal Challengers

Posted on 24 April 2012

Chennai Super Kings got some momentum with three wins. Few changes here and there made difference. They are still lack discipline in both batting bowling needs improvement. Last few game they left too long to finish the game and went ot the last ball, Could have gone either way. M.S. Dhoni found some form, and coming up in the batting order helping him and team. No change is expected from them.

Chennai Super Kings squad:MS Dhoni*†,S Anirudha,R Ashwin,S Badrinath,GJ Bailey,DE Bollinger,DJ Bravo,F du Plessis,BW Hilfenhaus,MEK Hussey,RA Jadeja,SB Jakati,Joginder Sharma,S Randiv,KMDN Kulasekara,VY Mahesh,JA Morkel,A Mukund,SK Raina,WP Saha†,SB Styris,S Tyagi,K Vasudevadas,G Vignesh,M Vijay

Royal Challengers are back to the winning ways with three win, big boys are doing well. They have some momentum at the moment. They are well balance and settled side. Not much change in the team combination. Dilshan’s waiting was not in vain, played a winning inning for his team in the last game. It is revenge time. Can the take out the monkey from their back, they lost to CSK last three games; which they played against them.

Royal Challengers Bangalore squad:DL Vettori*,MA Agarwal,KP Appanna,S Aravind,KB Arun Karthik,RR Bhatkal,AB de Villiers,TM Dilshan,CM Gautam,CH Gayle,M Kaif,AA Kazi,Z Khan,V Kohli,CK Langeveldt,AB McDonald,A Mithun,M Muralitharan,KK Nair,DP Nannes,R Ninan,HV Patel,AUK Pathan,LA Pomersbach†,CA Pujara,RR Rossouw,J Syed Mohammad,S Thiyagarajan,SS Tiwary,R Vinay Kumar,VH Zol

They will be fire works of sixes and fours from both sides. Do not miss, it will be heartbreaking, may be last ball game breaker. Last game for “Appanna ka Sapnaa”, took 4 wickets for 19 in 4 overs. Can he repeat his feat again?

Posted on 25 April 2012

Pune Warriors  lost last few games, They need to give brisk start in the first 6 overs, slow start peg them back against DD., They only put 146 on the board; that proved to be very little against mighty DD batting. Ryder needs continue to fire at the top, otherwise it is difficult for others to do the same. Smith should play more overs, come up in the order; because he is in good form and also fantastic finisher of the inning with high note. PW have to rethink about their Batting order. Dada should make some adjustments, and play according to thieir strength. PW is against DC, the team who is low in confidence at this point.

Pune Warriors squad: SC Ganguly*,ER Dwivedi,MJ Clarke,AB Dinda,CJ Ferguson,RV Gomez,Harpreet Singh,DS Jadhav,Kamran Khan,M Kartik,HH Khadiwale,B Kumar,NL McCullum,AP Majumdar,M Manhas,AD Mathews,MD Mishra,AG Murtaza,A Nehra,MK Pandey,WD Parnell,S Rana,JD Ryder,MN Samuels,R Sharma,GC Smith,SPD Smith,Tamim Iqbal,AC Thomas,K Upadhyay,RV Uthappa,SB Wagh,LJ Wright

Deccan Chargers lost five games, but got heavely blessing through rain and put point on the board. They are doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result, it is called insanity. They need to bow first and chase down the total, that is the demand of the time. They are not doing any good to themselves by dropping catches. They need to play T20 bowler J Theron. If DC Play to their potential they have chance against PW.

Deccan Chargers squad: KC Sangakkara*†,A Ashish Reddy,Anand Rajan,Ankit Sharma,T Atchuta Rao,AA Bhandari,DM Bravo,B Chipli,DT Christian,KH Devdhar,S Dhawan,JP Duminy,MS Gony,DJ Harris,IR Jaggi,AA Jhunjhunwala,CA Lynn,A Mishra,T Mishra,PA Patel†,V Pratap Singh,SA Quadri,DB Ravi Teja,PA Reddy,BB Samantray,C Sneha Kishore,S Sohal,TM Srivastava,DW Steyn,TP Sudhindra,J Theron,CL White,AS Yadav
